Work at 3Consulting
SafeData
A platform that tracks how long personal data is kept, handles consent withdrawals and records disposals, built at 3Consulting for NDPA and GDPR duties.

What it is
SafeData helps an organisation keep personal data only as long as it should. It tracks retention schedules, turns a consent withdrawal into a tracked disposal countdown, respects legal holds and dual approval, and keeps a tamper-evident record of what was disposed of.
The problem
Organisations subject to the Nigeria Data Protection Act and GDPR often keep personal data long after its purpose has ended, or miss disposal when someone withdraws consent. Spreadsheets break down once several departments are involved, which leaves the organisation exposed.
What I built
I worked on a team product, so these are my parts:
- The rule logic that works out when a record is eligible for disposal, based on retention schedules, consent-withdrawal dates, legal holds and approval gates.
- Fixes to the PostgreSQL test suite so each retention and governance test runs in isolation.
- The GitHub Actions pipeline: linting, PostgreSQL integration tests, dependency checks and secret scanning.
- A share of the work to join the retention and consent modules, with local pricing support.
How it’s checked
Automated tests run against PostgreSQL on every change through the CI pipeline above. I do not publish test counts or performance figures for this product, because it is company property.
Status
This page describes my part in a product owned by my employer. A public site exists at the link above. I make no claim here about how it is deployed or used, and no company code appears on this page.
My role
My part at 3Consulting Limited, Lagos (AI Assurance & Solutions): retention-engine scheduling logic, the PostgreSQL test suite and the CI and security pipeline.
Stack
Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Pydantic, PostgreSQL, Docker and GitHub Actions.
